The new year is ushering in a new style for From the Vault. James talks about what's ahead for our monthly WiPrime exclusive article. We're working towards a better WiPrime offering this year and, once we're a little further into 2024, we should have an all-singing, all-dancing, new Member offering. This will provide you with all of the goodies you're used to and even more exclusive content and value sprinkled on top! One part of the site that we know is a huge draw for WiPrime Members is the Vault and while many of you are primarily excited to read our latest issue we also want to improve how easily you can access the older archive issues too. The Vault is packed with classic content but it can be tough to know where to start looking when faced with hundreds of back-issues! From the Vault (FtV) has served as something of a guide to those older issues since I started to write it, but, with 434 issues of Wargames Illustrated (and counting) to cover, there's no way I can even begin to touch on the full extent of what's available. With that in mind I began FtV with quite a scattered approach, peppering readers with content somewhat indiscriminately - a Sten gun blast of Vault roundups, if you like! Unless I get a slew of emails asking me not to (wi@wargamesillustrated.net is the address to send any WiPrime-related thoughts my way) my plan for 2024 is to make FtV more sniper rifle accurate. I intend to pick out articles that complement and add to the theme and content in our current issue for the most part, so if we're examining the Fourth Coalition I'll put my searching gear on and dive into the dark of The Vault, eventually coming back to the light with relevant articles tucked into my pockets! I don't just want to add to what's in the current issue though, I think that our WiPrime content offers the chance to bring other classic pieces to light as well. To do that we're bringing together compilation PDFs that focus on a broader conflict or branch of the hobby that differs from the things getting attention in the magazine. That means that as well as your From the Vault roundup (and general access to The Vault) you'll also get at least one compilation PDF each month. This PDF will bring together classic articles based around a theme and over time I can see the collections becoming a valuable resource; dip into them with each new project you start, whether it's doing research into the history, gathering gaming ideas and tactics, painting advice, or terrain building tips! Again, I'd love
